Our initial focus is on purification technologies and applications, given the enormous problems faced by people in this domain due to excessive pollution effects. These are primarily felt in the form of air quality deterioration via various routes. Modern materials technologies have many potent solutions to offer in these respects but most of them are embedded in research publications and do not find the light of the day in real applications. Some of our solutions could be very effective, the choice of materials holds the key for widespread applicability in view of the cost considerations. Use of earth abundant, low cost materials is therefore very important in designing an application. These considerations and background form the basis of our logic in developing a specific application.
